Gale McMillan is gone

I am very sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great man and now you will step into his shoes and I am certain that you will do great things yourself. It was a privledge to have been able to meet both of you and I will see you in the future.

I am sorry for your loss. All the rest has been said.

Steve

I didn't know Gale, and I didn't much get involved in any of his discussions here, but I know that he was a loved man by those of us here at TFL. That's the great thing about TFL - Even though you may not directly communicate with someone, you know they are still part of the family. It's hard to believe the sort of relationship folks can have through electronic means, but Mr. McMillan definitely has a second family here.

My condolences to the McMillan family.

Heartfelt sympathies to the family.
We are richer for having known Gale,
and impoverished by his passing.
God bless.

Rock and Family,

First and most important, please know that you have my heartfelt sympathy and that you are in my prayers.

I never met your father, and I knew him only through TFL. However, for those of us who read and contribute seriously, TFL becomes somewhat like a family, with the same personalities, strengths, humor and so forth that we all cherish in our own immediate families. In addition, we quickly get to know the serious, smart, thoughtful, astute participants. Gale was a "giant" -- in knowledge, in his selfless and considerate way of sharing his knowledge, and in leadership. He certainly will be missed; more important though, he we continue to serve as a mentor, asking all of us to treat one another with civility and to share our insight.

May God bless you. Sincerely -- Roy Kiefer

We are all a bit better for the time he shared with us. Words can not describe the loss. God bless. A true giant of a man, in all respects.

I'm sure Gale is with other Brothers in Arms that have went before him... and that are all now watching over us.
