Money is a little tight right now, but, a Kel-tec 9mm, and a Remington 870 express mag, and a .17HMR are on my wish list for this year. Under $1000.00 for all three, not too bad.

just my opinion. If you are looking for a Ruger LCP,..........don't waste your money. It is the hardest gun to shoot I've ever owned!!!!!!! I've seen better triggers and pulls on a $3.99 toy gun from walmart. They are horrible. The recoil is the most of any small gun Ive ever owned. I gave $250 for the gun. I sold it for $50. Had I known what I know now, I wouldnt have given $50 for it. Junk. My opinion but it is JUNK!!

I'd take the kel tec over it any day.

The mfr's that are always on my list are -- Colt, HK, S&W wheelguns, a few Springfield 1911s and sometimes Glock -- now if we open it up to include long guns, I'd be in trouble ;)

If I don't win the new Wilson Combat polymer 1911 (naming contest) I hope to purchase on of its stainless 1911's (probably 9mm).

WOW! I wish I could have taken that LCP off of your hands for only $50! I could have kept it to compliment my GREAT LCP or re-sold it and made a great profit. Whoever bought this gun laughed all the way home and then went and told everyone he knew about the great deal he just got. Unfortunately though, it is likely that nobody he told believed him

As far as the kel-tec, they are basically identical. Yes, even the trigger pulls and recoils. The LCP is just IMO, and many others, a better made gun with MUCH better fit and finish.

I been kicking around buying the Taurus 608 (8 shot .357 mag). Either that or a Ruger Redhawk. Leaning towards the Taurus....

I'll probably wind up picking up a Smith or two this year (I usually do) especially since my local fun dealer has a P&R M58 that's tempting me.

Im hoping for a Saiga 12 in some form of tactical configuration and a FNH 45 (gonna trade in my sig p220)14+1 in 45 and 3 mags makes me salivate. Seriously!

This is tough because I'm trying to tone down my buying for 2009 in order to be better prepared for the current economy. That being said, here is a list of guns I will probably buy if they actually hit the shelves at a decent price in 2009:

Sig P-238
Taurus TCP Titanium
Walther PK380
Ruger LCR
Charter Arms Rimless 9

And guns that I probably won't purchase in 2009 but if I had the means would:
Colt 1908
Astra 600

It always catches me by surprise the amount of love Ruger gets. I have just never been a fan. I shot a Ruger P95 the other day and it felt like ****. Nothing about it was impressive. Clearly I am in the minority on this so I won't rule them out completely but my next pocket pistol is going to not be the LCP but instead the Kel-Tec P-3AT. That being said my next purchase, probably a gift to me actually, is the Hk P2000sk. Beyond that I eventually want the P-3AT, a 1911 (springfield probably), and it's about time for a shotgun.
