I am having trouble even carrying one.
The reasons are, a wife who doesn't support me in the ccw reality, a work environment which is illegal to carry. In fact no one I know personally does carry. So I am in a kind of nexus of anti-gunners.
I have great ccw weapons and have taken classes on use and methods. I have actually needed weapons for safety and used them to remain alive. But I am still far more often than I like, unarmed.
The plan is to begin a slide towards carrying again.
