Which is the most accurate hand gun you own?

RF - High Standard Model HB

CF - XDM 9 or CZ 82 (depending on distance/day)

The 82 is quite accurate to 25 yards for me. After that I have issues. Maybe the 9x18 but probably me:D Love the XDM for further distances.

Lets take this a step further. What do you think is the most accurate combat ready/practical/all-purpose Semi-auto and Revolver.

1911A1 Variants/ Smith and Wesson 686 4"

Any of my 1911s is capable of a five shot, one hole goup at 25 feet. That is as good as I can muster at this point.

I know there are shooters out there who can do the same (or nearly so) at 25 yards.

Not counting my T/C Contender, it's this one, a series 80 Colt Mark IV, underwhelming as a factory gun, now a tackdriver. Did the work myself and was so proud a bunch of years ago. Still my favorite.

I don't know which of my handguns is the most inherently accurate. I am most accurate with my early model GP100 - a blued, six-incher with abbreviated underlug.

I'd have to say that my Browning Buckmark is the most accurate at 7 yds.

However, I don't shoot pistols at targets that close anymore. For realistic offhand steel plate shooting distances, those in excess of 100yds, I give the nod to my custom Glock G21L. I worked a while tuning it to run well and now it runs like a top. My best work is when using Bear Creek Supply's 180grn 10mm moly bullets. When I'm 'on' our 150yd steel plates are in deep trouble.

I would have to say my Ruger Mark III 22/45 is the most accurate handgun that I own. The one that I can shoot most accurately with is a different story. I shoot the most accurate with a $199 Heritage Rough Rider 6.5in with a bend front sight.:eek: I do not know what it is but it just fits me perfect. :D

Since my eyes are not as good as when I was younger and my hands not as steady as they used to be, almost any good quality handgun I own is more accurate than I am these days shooting offhand.
But I do own several that are extremely accurate.
The High Standard Victor is outstanding.
In centerfire I have a S&W model 624 that is almost as good with the right ammo. In a good quality gun, the right load can make a world of difference in the accuracy. With factory .44 Special ammo my 624 shoots pretty decent, but with the right handload it becomes excellent.

I'll have to go by category as I don't know which would be the most accurate overall that I own.

I'll have a go and say;

.22 semi auto - S&W Model 41 7" Compensated
.22 revolver - S&W 617 8&3/8" barrel

Centrefire semi auto - S&W 52-1 .38 Special
Centrefire revolver - Tought choice, either the Colt Python or S&W 686 Competitor or S&W 686 International DX. They all shoot one ragged hole at 25 yards so I don't know.

Single shot - T/C Contender 14" in .22LR (This would be the most accurate but its kind of cheating :))

The guns I seem to have done best with are a Ruger Mark II and III, a Ruger P97 and a Glock 30. Don't know why, but these guns seem to make me a better shooter than I thought I was ;)

Without a doubt, my Sig P220 45acp. At 7-10 yards, if I want to count the holes that I've shout, I CAN NOT shoot more than one 7 round magazine at a time. The holes are so close, you'd never be able to differentiate more than 7. It would simply be 1 bigger hole. For fun, I've even tried to shoot smiley faces. I can actually shoot 7 rounds and make it sort of look like a face. Other than hunting rifles I have, I've never had a pistol that was so accurate and consistent. Doesn't matter if it's the first magazine, or if I'm on my 50th shot.

My CZ82 is stupid accurate. You would have to have your eyes gouged out and your fingers removed in order to miss with this gun.
