Which is the most accurate hand gun you own?

Accuracy is a mix of the gun and the shooter. I have guns that are very accurate but I cannot nurse the accuracy out of them. Now for my most accurate gun I can shoot consistently:

50 shots, 15 yrds, offhand.

1939 Registered Magnum. One of the original 5500 357 magnums.

1955 Pre-25 is my second best.

357 Magnum Python is my third for consistent accuracy.

I have a Browning Buckmark with a 10 inch bull barrel, shrouded sights, a super trigger, . . . and ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, . . . it shoots so good.

I just wish I could shoot as good as it does.

May God bless,
Dwight

S&W 1911 45ACP Fullsize. Im grouping 1"-2" inches at 50ft offhand. I know I could do better but thats as far as my (close) indoor range goes.

My XP100 in .221 Fireball and a couple of different barrels on the TC Contender have both turned in benchrested sub 1" 5-shot groups at 100yds more than once. They've also turned in many groups that weren't anywhere near that good. Considering how shaky and twitchy I am (and there's nothing like a 12X pistol scope to make that obvious), I think I know where much of the blame for the bad groups belongs.

between my 1911s and my CZ's.... hmm

out of box id have to say CZ...

after working them long enough between the two would be my Springfield 1911...but im working on a colt now

...wonder why i dont see taurus on this list for anybody... huh;)

Easily my Sig Trailside .22
At least that's the one I shoot the best. Pretty sure it would also be the best from a Ransom Rest.

My early 70’s, slightly customized Gold Cup was darn accurate, both with target loads and full power ammo. My new CZ-85 Combat with full power loads is about as good. It even does surprisingly well with cheap WWB. I also had a couple of Colt Trooper MK IIIs that were pretty fair with certain handloads.
