You have made things VERY interesting, my friend. I'm an old revolver
geek from way back; but after a successful career in law enforcement,
I have become attached to guns chambered for the .45 ACP. Mainly,
the SIG-SAUER P220A; but more recently the 1911's. So, with that
said I'm gonna have too vote for the Colt Commander~!
I lept before I looked; I already have a Commander, so you could say, based on that, that I would rather have a Commander. But, also based on that, you could surmise that I'd want a Python.
A python is kind of the "ultimate" revolver. For a pistol enthusiast to own a Pyrhon is kind of like a Rifle enthusiast owning a double H&H rifle. There's the "class" factor!
Fine,I will be the only one here: I want the Python. I love wheel guns. .45ACP's are nice, but they are second fiddle in my eyes to .357. (My next purchase will be a 1911) My Colt king Cobra is as close to a Python as I will get, unless I find a great deal on one.
WOW, I had this same problem 20 years ago, so I just bought them both. Since then i've added 3 more Colt autos, and one more Pyhton. REMBER, IF IT'S A COLT IT'S A CLONE!!!!!

I just can not get away from the versatility of a .357 mag revolver. Gotta go with Python if it is only one. If you can have more than one......buy both.
