What's your favorite round

What would be your round of choice is price was not an issue.

They all can be pretty devastating when used for SD, but the feel of firing a 45acp stands out to me vs the rest.

I like and shoot many rounds, hard choice to pick just one, I would say a 45 acp for most of my pistols.

I would say 22 long rifle just for the amount I can shoot in a day.

12 gauge out of my Benelli M1 just for the sheer joy of that shotgun :D.

I would say .270 for my longer range rifle, but that comes close to my .308 for the same reason.

Again this is all my personal preferences, and will differ from another person's preferences.

For fun at the range? 22lr
For stopping home invaders? 12 gauge
For stopping predators (2 or 4 legged) at distance? 7.62 NATO
For CCW? 9mm
For varmits? .223 or 22-250
For do-all that will see you through thick and thin without cleaning or worry? 7.62x39 in an AK.

I haven't fired that many different *handgun* calibers but so far I'd probably say the 9mm. My downloaded 45's are nice too.

This looks like a pretty all purpose round to me.

Something for everyone.

.45 ACP, because of availability. Otherwise, 10MM. If I faced a gunfight I'd grab the 10MM and hope I don't run out of ammo, but it shouldn't take too much. ;)

152mm... yeah, I can see that...
Lately, my favorite round has been the .44 Special... (which is, in my mind, the revolver version of the .45 ACP, my other favorite).

9mm does everything OK but excels at nothing.

My favorite shooting round is a hot .357 magnum that I load myself and launch from my 6" 686.
