Mine was a 6" Taurus model 66 .357. It was my first handgun, early 90s production. I sold it to buy a Glock that I no longer own when I was first getting into handguns. I wish I never sold it.
I suppose my "first" nightstand gun was a Crosman "357" co2 powered .177cal pellet shooting revolver. First real firearm in that role was my Smith & Wesson Model 17-6.
Ruger SR9c was the first nightstand gun and only recently replaced when I got my hands on an italian Beretta 92a1 with a crimson trace railmaster light.
Its a sweet shooter!
