What make and model of 9mm do you have?

H&K VP9
H&K USP
Walther PPQ
Walther P99
Walther Creed
Glock 19
Kel-Tec P-11

I'm a .45acp guy (most often carried: Kimber Classic Custom, Sig 320C, Glock G-36), but have these 9mm examples in my collection to flesh it out with the caliber du jour.

What have I learned from all of these? Save your money and get the Walther Creed for under $400. A finely made gun with a great trigger, grip feel, build quality, accuracy and shooting comfort. All for very little money.

I have several 9mm... I've also gotten rid of several over the past years.

Gone now are my Beretta 92 and my Kahr K9. Liked them both, but I needed to free up some space and they were quite redundant.

I now currently have:

1. Mid WW II manufactured Polish Radom. That was actually my first semi-automatic handgun. My Dad had to buy it for me, because I was under age.

2. Browning Hi Power. Fantastic handgun.

3. HK P7PSP. Also a fantastic handgun.

I don't believe I saw mention of the Kimber Pro 1911, any reason?

BigJimP in the first reply said ". a Kimber, 4", tactical pro II model, alloy frame..."

I didn't scour all 5 pages of the thread to see if there were more.

I suspect the reason you don't see more is that most Commander sized 1911s by any manufacturer are made in .45ACP (probably by quite a large margin).

I currently have 3, 1. Tressitu Zastava TZ99, 2. FM Industries Argentine Hi Power, 3. Kel-Tec P-11. But I had a Star M243 Firestar Plus that I now regret selling.

Glock (19; 26; 43)
Walther (P99; PPQ; PPS)
SIG (226)
CZ (75BD)

All really good. But, assuming 9mm is my only caliber, six more than I actually need. However, I seek competence in a range of handgun brands, models, calibers, and manuals of arms... Fortunately, my safe imposes some actual restrictions.

Taurus PT-111.

I was given a bunch of 9mm brass by someone who didn't reload. At the time I didn't reload 9mm, but I figured with a bunch of brass....

And then once I had the components, I had to have some way to test fire them....

But since I never intended to do more than load and shoot the 991 rounds of brass I had been given, I went shopping for a 9mm pistol based solely on price....

So, I bought the Taurus.

1944 Spreewerk P.38
1988 SIG Sauer P226
2016 Hk P30SK

Hmm. All Germanic. Never realized that.

I'd like to add a Browning Hi Power, I like 9mm as much as I like 45 ACP.

My first post, so this is a good place to start.

Colt 1911 Government/Competition Model
Colt 1911 Lightweight Commander
CZ 75 D PCR Compact
Glock 19 Gen 4

Coming Soon-ish:

Beretta M9
SIG Sauer P320 Compact

(And, yes, the 1911s are both 9mm.)

i recently was in the market for a 9mm, and after comparison, i chose the Sig Sauer P320. I have been extremely happy with my choice

Currently I have a Canik TP9SF in desert tan. IMHO these are the best bang for you buck out there. They are a hellofa lot of gun for the money. Mine has been 100%, 450 rounds in so far. And very accurate.
I also have a police turn in Beretta 92S. The thing is very sweet. I mean it's a Beretta what do ya expect. Small sights but useable. Same gun as the FS with the exception of the mag release.
