S&W Model 60 with Winchester Silvertip .38 Spl +Ps. I've got lots of others, but that's my bedside gun, and after 20 years of shooting it, I'm very confident that when I pull the trigger, it's going to go "BANG!"
The only one I ever had a problem with was a Beretta (very high quality) semi-auto that was prone to stovepipe jams. I've since steered away from autos.
I'd still rather have a good rifle if it came to a shootout. I've got a couple of those too, plus shotguns, so I think I'm covered.
