Speaking strictly on the merits of the cartridge, not necessarily the practicality (economy/ease) of it....but, were it not for the cost and availability issue, .32 H&R Mag hands down. A great joy. Shoot that stuff all afternoon, unlike even "just" a .38--however loaded--with similar (otherwise) ballistics. A puttycat to shoot (even with "warm" loads), but the even better part is you definitely have enough pop to know you aren't shooting any .22__anything. Nicest centerfire to shoot out there. I imagine the .327's going to be similar (in terms of enjoyment) especially out of a Ruger, just more of a good thing.
