What firearm do you open carry?

My next Makarov (9x18): Bulgarian or commercial Russian. Haven't yet wanted to try it, but it Will be only whenever I go hiking in a remote area which allows it.

Even getting out of a car, trying to Conceal near people can be covertly noticed by wannabe heros (Walmart video).

While I always carry concealed, this summer I am going up to Maine where they have non-resident open carry without a license and I will be carrying my Glock 17 OWB. I eventually plan to get my non-resident concealed carry for Maine but didn't get around to it this season. For the most part I don't anticipate to be hassled, but if I go up to Bar Harbor or Portland I certainly wouldn't be surprised if I get approached by an LEO for a man with gun call, those areas are super liberal.
 
I CC in public places, more urban settings.

Afield I open carry something that is more biased to open carry, e.g., service pistol.

I carry a Desert Eagle .44 magnum in a Desert Eagle belt holster, or a Uncle Mike Bandoleer chest holster if scoped, during hunting season in the outback.
