What firearm do you open carry?

can't open carry any pistol.. against the law in my country!

shotguns are allowed (usually for guards).

But IF it was allowed, I would have carried by Norinco CF-34

I only mentioned the concealed carry options because I thought maybe you were unaware that they existed for your full sized service pistol.
Excuse me for trying to be helpful on your personal thread.

Well, I personally have learned something.

After 30+ years of firearms acquisition, thinking I had all the bases covered.......I now find I need a BBQ gun.:p

I don't open carry. If I did, I'd have my Para Expert 1911 in a Serpa holster on my belt along with a spare mag somewhere on my person. That's what I take along when I hunt "just in case."

Best,

The only gun I ever open carry is my full size Beretta PX4 Storm 45, and that is only because I find it all kinds of uncomfortable to try to conceal.

When I do open carry it's either my P226 or Springfield Armory TRP Operator. I haven't carried the TRP open that much yet. Just on a few trips. It's going to be my hunting sidearm though. I haven't hunted in one full year. :(

I open carry a Ruger SR1911 5" for about 2 years now. Been leaning towards downsizing to glock 30/30s when i decide which is best choice for me.

By the way, I love how all the "anti open carriers" have to make it known in their posts. It was a simple question that required only a simple answer.

Tends to change for me, but most often it will be one of these, a1911, BHP, S&W model 25 or sometimes a model 58. On rare occasions it will be something other than one of the above.

If you have not handled a Glock 30SF I would suggest it. The reason I bought mine is it feels great in my hand. Most of the other Glock models felt like I was holding a big brick. As far as how you carry. Carry how you feel most comfortable. I also have open carried for a little over 2 years and it feels natural to me .

My EDC, so a Kimber UCDP in .45 ACP. Shirt out or tucked in denotes whether I'm CCing or OCing. Same applies to hiking, but then it changes to a Glock 29.

Beretta 92sf/M9 in a Serpa paddle holster with a double mag pouch. I Also carry a Glock 29sf with extended grip in a serpa as well when I need an easy "Throw a jacket on to conceal gun." I never open carry my flashy guns. The point of open carry to me is to remain professional and have people know I am armed, not invite them to talk about my weapon. It does happen.

We can open carry here in CO, but I prefer concealed. Grey man is grey.

BTW, I carry the same pistol I carried as a duty sidearm: Sig P220 in 45 ACP.
