What firearm do you open carry?

This is not intended to be a conceal vs open carry. Simply put what gun do you open carry. So please don't hijack this thread.

I open carry a Glock 30SF in a Black Hawk Serpa 3:00 position with 2 spare mags.

I open carry my Beretta 92f in a G.I.-style Bianchi full-flap holster on a G.I.-style pistol belt. It's pretty much my standard outdoor/desert rig.

Shot a rattler with it two weeks ago.

I've yet to carry openly, but might do it this summer during a day hike. My preferred mode of carry is OWB in a UBG Regulator holster at 4:00 on a UBG belt, so if I get warm on a hike and shed my jacket or cover shirt I could be open unless I'm wearing a long-tailed t-shirt. I would likely be carrying a CZ 83. I don't usually bother to carry spare mags (I should carry at least one), although I have two UBG mag pouches.

How do you carry your two spare mags?

Hiking and working in the woods I carry a Rossi 35102 .38 Special, First 2 chambers loaded with shot, other 3 w/ 158 lead SWC. Very comfortable. Usually stick a speed strip or 2 in my front jeans pocket. OOPS!! Just realized this is a semi-auto thread!!! But you did ask, generally, what do I open carry and this is it. Never open carry a semi.

I started to open carry a couple of times but my wife told me no. She was worried about people staring and that it would put a target on my back. But I conceal carry my Ruger SR40.

You open carry ??????
Switched my carry guns. Sig 239 or S&W 3904. On occasion I may strap on the ole S&W 4006 which I carried for the last 8 years

I do not open carry unless I am dressed and in need of a BBQ gun for some sort of a gun-centric function where wearing a visible sidearm is part of the deal.

For that (which is very rare for me), I have my Coonan Classic .357 "Magnum Automatic" riding in a Zlogonje Black Sharkskin holster. It's not so flashy that it looks ridiculous, but it fits my personality.

10 inch Ruger MKII target model.

It makes an impression. When people see the giant holster they usually expect a revolver.

I'll open carry when I fish, then I carry a SR22 in a simple kydex holster. When I hunt I'll open carry my SR45 or SR22, hopefully I'll be upgrading back to a 10mm but this time a g40.

I don't open carry in public the only holster I have that's presentation quality is for my Shield.

If you OC in public, it one should always be dressed neatly and carry in a quality leather holster. No visible tattoos would also be nice, no goofy stickers on your vehicle.

I don't. Open carry is technically legal where I l live, but strongly discouraged by the aw-thaw-rih-tays.

If I were to test the waters, it would be either a Colt Combat Commander or a Colt Officers ACP.

I have only open carried on private property while doing some target shoot - Glock 17 in some brand of hard plastic holster. But, if open carry were acceptable (either at a private function or in public), I would open carry my Tanfoglio Stock 10mm in a nice leather holster. Large capacity, powerful, and a real looker!

When I open carry it's usually on my way to my local range or to the mountains where I will be hiking/camping/shooting.

In which case it could be any number of handguns.

Most recently I carried my Sig Scorpion 1911 with a wml in a kydex holster.

Next time will probably be my Beretta 92fs in a leather thumbsnap police style holster.

Or maybe a Ruger mark II in an old nylon holster that fits like a glove.

The list goes on....

This should really be in the general handgun forum, I hate to leave out my Ruger Redhawk 4" 44 mag in its leather Ruger brand holster.:)

I only open carry while in the woods. Usually its my Sig 226 and the other times its my HK P-30, Steyr L9-A1, or Walther PPQ all in 9mm.

It truly amazes me how people can not follow simple instructions. I did not ask when you open carry. I did not ask your opinion on open carry. I did not ask where you open carry. I did not ask what clothes you wear when you open carry.
