100 rounds cci CB shorts for 9 + chage at a Wall Mart in SE MI. Justified the purchase in that I can use this ammo for backyard practice and make up the difference in standard .22 ammo by skipping the range fees.

That and the fact that I can fit more than 10 rounds of it in my henry Mare's Leg, making it an assult weapon in the eyes of certain idiots.

Ordered some 45ACP bonded jhp from Underwood Ammo. The price seemed about the same as last summer ($35/50 + sh).

Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2

600 rounds of 7.62x54 from a friend who reloads.

My emaciated Russian children can now feast like kings

That made me laugh. There is still plenty of surplus russian ammo on the shelves here. Even x54 and even x39.

My local small town LGS has plenty of ammo when I was there for something else on Monday. Most of the 'handgun ammo' was the el cheapo crap and I didn't need any so I passed.

Walmart in Burke, VA.

Winchester white box .45 acp 100 rd. box for 40 bucks.

No .223 or .22 lr, though. Oh well.

on the way home from work yesterday something just told me to stop and check the walmart on the way even though pickings have been very slim there.

No crowd at all, walked to the sporting goods counter and what did i see but 6 100 rd packs of WWB 45 @ $39 each. They have a limit of 3 so I took em with a smile.

On the way home today I said wth I will stop by and check again, and what was still there...... the other 3 boxes were still on the shelf a day later. So they came home with me too :)

I need to check the local Wal-Mart again, since it's been a few days. But it's been almost sad watching the stocks dwindle down to almost nothing over the past few weeks.

I'm half expecting them to start using the shelf space for something else until they start getting ammo in again.

stopped by bass pro on the way out of town this morning to see what they had.
No 9mm, 223, 7.62x39, 308 or 22 LR to be found....... but plenty of 38,40 and 45 WWB 100 rd packs though ..... limit of 10 boxes per customer.

I found Independence 9mm at my LGS the other day, $13.95 per box...but limit of 3 boxes per caliber per person per day, so I bought 3. Went back the next day, it was all gone. :(

I bought ammo for my antique french lebel revolver.

In a thread from 2009 that was resurrected yesterday,,,
I saw where MrBorland had posted a link.

It was for Fiocchi brand ammo for my 8mm Lebel Revolver.

I don't shoot it much because ammo is very hard to find,,,
I had been buying reloaded ammo from gadcustomcartridges.com.

Imagine my surprise when I clicked the link and the new Fiocchi ammo was in stock,,, :D
I immediately raided my Mad Money Fund and bought myself 200 rounds.

Man oh man that was fortuitous happenstance,,,
I am glad that a brand new member resurrected this old thread.

300 rounds of Federal .223 (by way of three 100-round boxes) at Wal-Mart of all places! Mills Fleet Farm has been stocking comparable boxes of American Eagle .223 and Blazer Brass pistol calibers on a fairly regular basis too.

bought some TULA .40 at walmart

never stooped so low. Never tried it but it was cheap ($15/box of 50) Friendly fellow walmart ammo shopper informed me it would blow up my gun.
