What ammo did you buy today, and were? LOL

I paid for them on the 14th, but they arrived today from Missouri Bullets:

95 gn .380 ACP bullets (1000)

230 gn .45 ACP bullets (1000)
 
I bought a new Marlin 1894 in .357 today. Along with it I bought two boxes of Hornady Leverevolution ammo in .357 and a box of cheap .38 special.

I stopped at Wallyworld today hoping to snag some .22 ammo. I spotted 2 boxes of 9mm hiding behind some rifle ammo and scarfed them up just because.
No .22 ammo though. Only handgun ammo was 2 boxes of 38 spl, 1- 357 mag and 1- 44mag. Oh yeah, and some .380 for $31.97 a box. Why would anybody buy a .380 and not reload??????
 
Saw an ad on Armslist.com this morning, a guy was asking $300 for a 525 round box of federal .22lr.

I almost snatched it up, what a great deal!:rolleyes:
 
Lol there is supply and demand, then there is insanity. Some people are acting like we are post SHTF scenario already.

If prices go up any more I'm selling what I have and paying off my house and buying a new car.:D
 
My local walmart had a whole shelf of PPU 223 ammo for $7.97/box. They were limiting customers to 3 (20 rd) boxes so that's what I bought. I must have been at the right place at the right time!!!

Good for you - that's great!

I checked today to see if our local Wal-Mart had started to get stock back, but they just continue to get more and more picked-over. They're now completely out of all pistol calibers, even the high-dollar defensive stuff that was the last to go - all that's left are shotgun shells, .243, .270 and 7mm.
 
I did not buy any yesterday, today nor will I tomorrow. I reload most of what I shoot and will wait to purchase the few calibers that I do not.
 
Technically I did not buy it today but it arrived today.

Got two 50 round boxes of Armscor 230gr .45acp. Got it from cheaper than dirt.
 
Walmart had 3 box's of Tula .380 at $14.97 a box/50. I showed my friend, she didn't bite. Me? I don't own a .380. I don't know why I never bought a Ruger LCP.
 
no go for me. everywhere is out around here. I keep checking Walmart and Dicks Sporting goods.. but no go as of yet. Even the Local shops are out.
