We Need A Picture Thread - Tactical Rifles

This is a old used Rem700 action, used Krieger barrel, 6mmBR chamber, used Harrel brake, Choate Ultimate sniper used stock, and used IOR scope.

Just some old junk I slammed together.

shanzlik: I gotta say, you have a good eye for the aesthetics when building a rifle. My hat's off to ya! :D

I enjoyed the fine lines of this one:

Your AR10 is quite nice. I like mine, too.
2003 AR15.com SEBR #7 with fixed telestyle 'carbine' stock and refitted Lothar Walther bbl., done by ArmaLite with their latest upgrades and GenII mags. The Gentleman who did the work advised leaving the buttstock as it is.
The TASCO TITAN scope was $1300 LESS than the one I wanted...;)

Have since replaced the sights and put on a Picatinny scope mount.
Bell & Carlson stock.

One of the things I enjoy most about the gun forums on the internet is the visual ideas that we share and ultimately make into something we like.

Just two of my favorite tactical firearms

So if I get a remington 700 bolt action and paint the stock black and have a stainless barrel, its considered tactical? wow

I take it your calling out my 5R. Considering the stock is naturally black i didn't paint it, and the gun is nowhere near finished, i guess your right. Yet nothing on that rifle is factory except the action and barrel which is about to be replaced. Stock is a McM A-5 not some factory stock. According to your logic a SS 700 isn't tacticool but a black AR with a stainless barrel is? or a pink striped rifle? (No offense frank). It's how you use it, not looks. But yes i consider it tactical, it's sure as hell not a hunting or a bench rifle.

I don't know how tacitcool it is, but it's what I have. Hopefully if I ever have to use it my tactics won't suck.:D

I don't know about tactical... but here's lil' buddy (my only at the moment):

C360_2011-08-07%25252017-23-23.jpg

Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308; HS Precision PS012 stock, Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 with Mil-Dot reticle, EGW single piece rail, Burris Extreme rings (low), Butler Creek caps, Karsten Kydex cheek rest, Badger Ordnance bolt knob, magazine extension (7 rd. cap), Harris swivel bipod. Best group to date is 7/8" @ 200 yards, 5 shots, using Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr. $1500 well spent.

On another note: I JUST BECAME A SENIOR MEMBER!!! WOO-HOO!!
(only took 7 months.... ok I'm done.)
