CBS is sayin that Bush is the winner. Speculation but they are celebrating in Austin also.

May they be right for a change.

Thanks to all the folks who sent the letters, talked to the people, hustled the door hangers, hobnobbed with the folks on the way to the polls. Hauled folks to the polls. Hell of a lot of work by a lot of people. Still awfully close.

Bunch of politicrats to be thrown out in two years. Our work is far from over.

I dunno, I gotta give Blather props.

All along, he is the only one that has all along said that Bush was a possible.

All the other networks had Gore tied up for the win, and were listing Gore for having won States that he ended up losing.
I thought Blather was pretty decent. The rest of them were not.
 
Being from Pennsylvania, I can tell you why Gore won the state despite the abundance of hunters here. Gore was campaigning here recently and promised that he would not take away guns from hunters and sportsmen. Notice he said nothing about self defense. So the hunters and sportsmen feel confident (many of them are probably union members too)because of the "they're not after my guns, why should I care" mentality. ALL gun owners, regardless of whether they own hunting rifles, shotguns, "assault" weapons, or handguns have to stick together. The antis cannot outright ban our firearms, they will just chip away at them and count on apathy to do the rest.
