Well, back to the original topic, I felt the same as the OP. I bought the PPQ on a whim because of the grip and trigger feel. It was only later I discovered its trigger was no better than than that of my Glock G19 with a GlockTriggers Guardian trigger. (With the Guardian, it brought the price up to that of the PPQ's price, so it was apples/apples.)
With the trigger a wash, the smaller size factor of the Glock gave it the advantage for me.
Add to the trigger and size, I began to like the PPQ's grip less than the Glocks's. I found it was easier to "index" on the Glock's grip because it wasn't oval like the PPQ's.
The Glock is easier to detail strip and home gunsmith, and the parts are cheap enough to stockpile.
Finally, expertise on the Glock is widespread, while the expertise on the PPQ is pretty much limited to what I think is a rather poor manufacturer-sponsored site.
