Ultimate HD shotgun setup?

i have a mossberg 12ga pump with #1 buckshot...6 rds.

what could anyone need more than that? why mod it? it already works fine.

i just have to do my part.
 
Ok, Im ready for the zombie invasion. I have the original stock and I usually throw it on before I go out for clays or general plinking around.....but once its back home, that PGO goes back on and she rests inches from my bed.I like posting pictures of it in pgo trim because its funny to watch the people get thier feathers ruffled over my "useless contraption".......:rolleyes: Ive put tens of thousands of rounds down the tube and I prefer the pg for the house. Feels better to have a shorter shotty.

First Post! Good forum, interesting topic. As always, there are as many choices as people. Kudo's to the people suggesting a 20ga. I let my wife pick the gun she was most comfortable holding. I wanted her to get an 1100 in 20ga, but she was more comfortable with the 870, less weight in the front. Practice, practice, practice.
One thought on mounting extra shells on the stock. They hurt if you have to shoot w/ your offhand. I have had to shoot as much from my left shoulder as from my right!

Seems like that would be awfully hard on your home. Not to mention alarm the wife if you get up and start blasting stuff in the middle of the night.
