Quartermaster, QMuniforms.com....

Quartermaster which is now owned/business partners with Galls, has a free S/H offer until this Mon June 10 2013.
There are no limits or restrictions. See www.qmuniforms.com for details.

They are fast & have decent LE security armed professional items; holsters cases cleaning kits clothing etc.

SG has a few different brands of 7.63x39 in stock.1000@$285 Pistol ammo still scarce except in LGS. Can even find the bulk .22's but at around $50

Things are getting better, slowly.
Hopefully, it will pick up pace faster than our economy has....

I'm convinced much of the "shortages" now, are due to clowns buying whatever they can from major retailers that don't gouge, and putting their crap online for sale to try to gouge and make a few bucks.

I know some will say that's the American way, but I disagree.

It's resolving itself. And actually right on target with the time frame I suspected. I predicted that we'd have till about June then things would lighten up.

I recently bought three bricks of .22LR for 7c a round. Couple hundred 38 jacketed flat point for 27c a round. And a couple hundred 357mag soft point for 35c a round. It goes on sale for a couple hours then gets sold out. But it's available.

There seems to be plenty of 9mm ball, 308 ball and hollow point and tons of 12ga 00 buck. All pretty good price.

Guns likewise. They're coming back on the market.

No panic...:)

just wanna post that on cabelas website i was able to pick up 400 fmj 115 grain 9mm bullets so it seems that have a stock atm

now i just need to find a nice supply of primers and brass :(

If anybody is looking for some hard cast bullets, I found a place. It's at Straight shooters.com. Haven't seen anyone else mention them here and can't figure out why. Found them by accident so I tried 500 for the 9mm. I received them in less than a week and the Quality is on par with the best of them.

They do not have a lot to chose from in many calibers, but everything they sell is in stock. Used them for my 9mm and 45 acp and they worked great.

Just passing on some info,

Cabelas in Columbus is fully stocked except for reloading supplies but they are better also.

Here in Southeast Alaska stuff is still scarce. Primers are limited to 1 per person per day.

You know things are bad when you can only buy one primer at a time! Do they take it out and wrap it in tissue paper? And how much fun would that be to sit down at the reloading bench and reload one whole round. It's like Barney Fife and his one bullet all over again!

Heads up guys, pretty decent sized batch just came in to sgammo.com

9mm has 147-grain Federal Hi-Shok and 124-grain standard pressure Remington Golden Saber

.45 has 185-grain Golden Sabers

.40 is the real gold mine. Large amounts of 180-grain HST and 165-grain Gold Dot.

Lack of bids in Gunbroker.

Is it just me or has the amount of bids for guns on GB died? I think that the current gun market has caused these guys to put insane reserves on auctions. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
WK

The big reserves are to ensure they don't lose their shirt. Too bad, they'll flog the ammo horse for the rest of the year, it's coming back into the stores and at fairly normal prices.

Wars over...

SG Ammo of Stillwater OK had approx 1350, yes 1350 25rd boxes of Golden Saber 124gr 9x19mm(9mm Luger). They were listed at around $14.00ea USD which isn't bad.
They had lots(1000rd per) of .38spl too. Like 630 or 650 lots. The brand was PMC or Speer CCI.

These are encouraging signs but the "war's" not over yet,.

www.SGammo.com
ps: The site also had approx 175 boxes of Hornady's new Critical Duty ammunition in .40S&W.

Passed by the Buda Cabela's on the way to Austin. Rows and rows of AR-15 platforms from 850 to 1100 bucks. Quite a few Saiga 223s. Lots of 223 ammo. Lots of handguns. 9mm and 22 LR still missing. Lots of 45 ACP.

If you bought an AR for 3000 bucks and were hoping to cash in - ain't happening now.

Oxford, Alabama Wal-mart. Finally got a clerk who sat there and talked about the process, and they have a hard time getting it.

They had .22LR and .223 both made by Remington. Unfortunately they only had one box of each and I purchased them.

However they do have 44 mag, 32, 38, 380, 30-06, 308, 270 and a assortment of hunting calibers.

The ammo is slowly coming in. They only had one case of .22LR arrive today and it all sold except for one box in under two hours.

Power Pistol in stock.

Just a heads up for those who are interested; Cabelas has 1lb containers of Power Pistol in stock. Limit of two per customer. With the hazmat fee, it's kind of pricey but this stuff is hard to find, at least around me. :)

I'll wait. If everybody waited, this mess would be over much sooner. No way I would pay a $27 hazmat fee on top of the 1 lb powder price(8 lb box yes)...on top of the shipping price. That's insane.

Powder shipment "damaged in transit"

Ordered 3 pounds of IMR4198 from one of the big online retailers. Tracking notice said UPS would deliver on June 12. June 12th, tracking said delivery would be on June 13th. June 13th, tracking said "The package was damaged in transit-shipper will be notified."

I called the retailer. Told them what happened. Customer support said "this has happened several times recently with powder shipments. Not saying anything is going on, but it seems strange." Seems strange to me, too. Well, they had more of that powder and shipped me 3 more pounds. Will wait to see what happens.

My opinion? That powder will show up at a gun show somewhere. I may be wrong, but of all the stuff I have had shipped to me, and all of the stuff we shipped to our kids in the army, never had a problem.

I strongly commend the retailer. Handled this with grace and professionally.
