The ONLY Pro-firearms Presidential Candidate for 2008!

Mr. Paul gets my strong support, definitely! Blows away the front-runners of Romney/Guliani/McCain. In fact, blows away any candidate from any political party for any office. Huckabee is pro-gun, but too religiously moralistic for my taste. Brownback even more so. The U.S. House Rep guy from Calif. is supposedly pro-gun too, and talks a good ballgame on immigration etc.

So after all the Ron Paul hoopla - who do you really like among the viable candidates?

I'm liking Bill Richardson from surface appeal. None of the GOP do it for me as that party is fatally flawed in its current disarray. That one of their guys is slightly more gun does not overcome their more serious tendencies to threaten liberty.

who do you really like among the viable candidates?

None. I just don't vote if there is nobody worth voting for. Republicans and Democrats in general are worthless. If I don't see a candidate that doesn't want to play PC ball with the goons in Washington, who cares about the orginal intention of the Founding Fathers (preserving our liberties and culture, keeping government power next to nothing and having a job and life outside of Washington DC) then I just stay home on election day

I'm a registered Libertarian, and Ron Paul would put "Goldwater conservative" ideas back into everyday conversation. He's got my vote. I just hope the BIG dems. & reps. aren't able to push him into the background. I think most voters believe that there are only 2 political parties, and that someone like Ron Paul couldn't be a good candidate because he really wants small government and keeps it simple. Ron Paul is what we really need. I hope he gets the nod.

It is more useful to try to convince the political mainstream to have a more friendly position on the RKBA than stew in revolutionary and protest vote fantasies.

However, that is not the stock and trade of the Internet.

Wild, I'm curious to know what exactly it is, in general ideas only of course, that you disagree with Ron Paul enough to say that you wouldn't vote for him if he managed to repeal all gun laws. There must be some major schism in philosophies here where you can't even concede one very good for some of your perceived bads.
