one man's trash...
obsolete, yes... bulky, inaccurate, less than powerful, and many other disadvantages can be attributed to this weapon... however, its cost and reliability do give it a place in my safe... bought one for my wife 'cause she thought it looked "cool", and i expected the performance of tech-9 for the price i paid. well, i gotta tell you... its akin to a little 9mm AK! it cycles surplus mil, win, umc, crap reloads, and even cor-bon(don't try those @home, kids, i'm not sure of the mfgs stress rating for +p's) like it doesn't even know how to jam! also, the simplistic design lends to easy maintenance and field care without a gunsmithing toolbox. this weapon's best quality, in my opinion, is it's center of balance... this is no small-game hunting pistol, it was designed for military and private security use as a concealable sub-gun and anyone who expects anything more than "extension of the arm" type aiming with it is just an idiot. i do believe that in this semi-auto, closed bolt configuration it could prove quite useful as a "left hand" gun in a light self-support role in the CQB or urban security details where an individual could lay down a barrage of loosely placed cover fire with the mini-mac in one hand while placing an aimed shot from the primary duty pistol in the other hand on the actual target or threat. this is my first visit to your forum, so don't get me wrong people...i was just defending my wife's birthday present, not that 15 year old macho Rambo MAC-Sniper dork. hehe.
