And this ridiculous look differs from the MPA how???
Because the MPA looks like a subgun and as such looks appropriate wearing a 30 round magazine.A Glock with a 33 round mag looks like a Cavalier sporting 20" rims....absolutely absurd and ridiculous.

I don't know about you guys but I couldn't possibly buy any firearm from a company when the official website has 2 mistakes right there on the page such as "9mm clips" and "muzzle break".

If they had gotten those right and had "9mm magazines" and "muzzle brake" on the page I would at least know they knew their ass from their elbow. That is quite embarrassing to advertise your firearm ignorance on the website in plain view.

AHhhhh, no. Gun people, and web people are different animals. Gunsmiths, and gunmakers, hire web people, to do their sites, and, often, the web folks screw it up.

Not the gunmakers fault, just the webmasters...

Wow it looks like a sub gun...amazing.:o Thats the only thing it can do.

I still prefer any Pistol with a 33 rounder magazine because its lighter, much more beautiful, accurate and small. :D

And why is it called ''defender'' if you even can't carry it?

No, it isnt ok to say if that's not what it is. It has nothing to do with what I "agree" with. A magazine shouldn't be called a clip just like a car shouldn't be called a truck. It's ok to say, but it still isn't correct.

What about the term "muzzle break" they had on their website....you don't call the things that stop your vehicles "breaks" do you? All I'm saying is you can't expect a person knowledgable in firearms and terminology to take your product seriously if you can't get those details right.

The two terms have been interchanged for more decades than any of us has been around....weve been over this before here at TFL.I havent noticed the "muzzle brake" issue,so Ill wait until I see it before commenting.

It's right there on the page you linked way back in post #1. Right next to "clip," "clip loader," and "mini safety ext."

Why would you want something to break the muzzle?

Moderators, please don't close this thread.

This is too funny. Dude, what a totally sweet gat...

Bwhahahahaha...

I use this forum mostly for somewhat serious reasons, you see my life just so happens to depend a good rifle and secondary. I've been to Iraq, Afghanistan, going back to Iraq, and when I get out of the Corps I'm going to start my own security contractor. Why? Because I'm PO'd that no one will do anything about Sudan and Darfur. Too many innocent people that live terrible lives.

Anyhoo, once in awhile I find a thread on this that is just too funny. I was beginning to miss the glory days of dougs' posts on tactics and training, because I haven't seen anything funny up here for a good little bit

And now, TE, you have made my day bud. Thank you. I have completely ignored this thread, not even opening it because I didn't know what an MPA defender was and didn't really care. After seeing 6 pages of posts, I decided to see what all the fuss was about.

I still don't care about the MPA defender, and personally think it along with the rest of the cobray design is an abortion. If you think this "gat", with it's 30 round "clips", is so "sweet"; well more power to ya. You're either trying to make an impression in the hood (you only confirm it with your "20 inchers on a cavalier" statement) or you saw Delta Force or Invasion USA one too many times.

Now as cool as Chuck Norris (www.chucknorrisfacts.com) is, the weapon system in whole is as useful as hen terds on a pump handle. Regardless of what anyone wants to think, every member of seal team 6 does not carry an MPA defender or any cobray design. If a clandestine raid is in order, then MP5's rule the roost. Believe me, that happens very rarely. Most of it is a good M4 with a meusoc 1911 (yes, the military still does issue the old girl to a select few, but you have to be Maritime... either seal or anglico) as a secondary. Delta doesn't run around with MP5's as their standard issue. 98% of military issue, even to any sort of SF, is an M4 carbine as primary unless they have a specialty such as a designated marksman, Sniper, Demo or anti-armor (will usually carry a sub due to weight), or some other odd job. Sometimes machinegunners MIGHT carry a sub as their personal, I don't know what everyone does exactly, I'm just fairly familiar with Anglico and a little bit with Seals (Seals have about the biggest choice of what they use over all others).

Our boys in the SF's of America kick but, there's no doubt that they are very good at what they do. I will also be the first to say that they would laugh at this and you for carrying it.

One last thing... IT'S A F___ING MAGAZINE. I would like to see your reaction to a drill instructors demoralizing barrage (and 2 hours of pushing) of insults after you let the word clip slip just once. IT IS A MAGAZINE, or a mag.

With regards

OH Yeah, one last thing.

Tell me how the videos on this website aren't marketing to 19 year old hoodlums when the dude blows on the muzzle (that's the end the bullet thingey comes out of) and says "YEAH" at the end of the video. That is the coolest ever. Where can I find one or 10. I got a few g's dat aint strapped yet so's I got'sta getem' packin heat.

snicker snicker...

i dont understand where all the hate on this thing comes from?????????

YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY IT

with that said, i agree with the others that being stricktly semi kind of kills the whole gig for it BUT....

from what i've searched about it, it is a quality 'mac-10' type clone, with (apparently i havent really looked into it) machined parts replacing stamped, and tighter/better tolerences, at a good price, using easily available/cheap magazines. Again, apparently the best copy cat made of the real thing.

I understand that it dosent really have ANY advantage over a quality handgun with a large cap mag.

If it was full auto that would be a diff story, but its not.

with that said, if its built well, i would ABSOLUTLY BUY ONE! i've always been in love with the look of a 'mac-10' type gun, wether it shoots accurate/handles well ect is all secondary. Its just something to ME that i've always wanted. To me it would be a great range gun to blow through a 50 box of ammo and put away and go back to shooting other firearms.

With that said a few other things

-the website is a joke and caters to the wrong crowd IMO

-the videos on the website make you think they were selling a mac-11/10 type clone that was like a bb gun, except they are shooting a real one, really irresponsible i'd say

dosent make the gun community look good.

The one i'd get would probably be the full sized ones, not the mini.

BTW does anyone have any info on the rifle, is it a carbine?

thanks.

Not the trees!

That guy in the video really hates trees!! He is shooting all the trees! God no, not the trees!!!!

i dont understand where all the hate on this thing comes from?????????
Me neither. And by the way,Ive never had a single person that didnt think mine was a really cool looking gun.Its for fun people! Its not a CCW or 1000 yard target weapon.:p
