30 post on this thread and not one reply by the OP to had to this basless thread he started.....lol you guys took his bait and ran with it.

I think the fact that the original post was ignored and the topic drifted to more interesting conversation indicates the bait WAS NOT taken.

I have 2 AR's. I have 2 Mini-14's. The Mini's are both 180 series. The only mags that work with the Mini are $30 factory mags. NOTHING else works. I love the C-products mags but have never had a failure with another companies products in an AR. AR mags, even the junk ones, work pretty well, at least until they fail.

I prefer my Mini's, they are just super fun. They are not as accurate as the AR's but I really enjoy shooting them. But in a fire fight, I'll pick up my AR before I grab my Mini. The only really advantage I see to the Mini is the chambers are sloppy, they will eat any ammo, even my crappy buckled shoulder reloads. The AR is more finicky. It jams up with junk ammo.
