My PT-145 has never jammed or broken. I have owned it for about 3yrs. and its ate several diffrent brands and types of ammo without 1 single problem. Its also very accurate for a short barreled gun. My bro-in-law has the PT-111 for way longer than I have had my 145 and other than a crappy trigger its reliable and super accurate. Bash away all you *&^%. I love me some TAURUS.

try some heavier grain ammo out of it....I know you shouldn't have to but it might help ease your mind to put it back again in the back of the safe after getting it going/working again
 
I had the Taurus 66 357mag and it had issues right from the factory with cylinder lock up along with some other issues. I sent it to them to get it fixed and within two weeks had it back better than new. I chose not to fire it and sold it before it broke again. I thought there customer service was good but since I got a lemon with the first Taurus I bought I will probably not ever go back to them.

How can you think anything about anything at all based solely on price without ever trying that anything yourself? That's a rhetorical question because this thread is closed.
