.32 S&W CTG? my serial number found on the bottom of the grip is 131XXX this gun was given to me it is hammerless

.32 Safety Hammerless 2nd Model.
Serial numbers ran from 91418 in 1902 to 170000 in 1909.
It shoots the 32 S&W cartridge which is a shorter version of the 32 S&W Long.

My new 686

So I finally made the plunge and got my first revolver. Decided on a S&W 686 with a 6inch barrel. Shoots very well but was interested on it's history.

Serial number is CAC1xxx.

edit it has 10-5 stamped behind the cylinder
condition is great

Rough guess, about $450 to $500

Likely 1976.
SN's ran from D750001 in 1975 to D870000 in 1976.
Rough guess, about $350 to $400.
