ASM Navy & Sholder Stock

Here is a ASM Navy revolver & Sholder Stock.
I would like to know more about this revolver & stock. The revolver, is .44 cal. has a brass engraved frame, the bbl. is engraved, the cyl. has a roll engraved naval scene. The fit & Finish on both the revolver & the sholder stock, is top notch. They are both in new unused condition. They came to me as a set, but altho the revolver has the pins to fit the stock, there is no cut out in the bottom of the grip strap. I have been told that they were made quite a few years ago, and I can't find out much about ASM. Does any one know anything about this pair?
Thanks.

Fourth is Pietta 1860 Army Lawman model cased set from Cabelas in 1991. Also have a second one so I can use the pair for CAS matches.

All are shooters - except the SS 51 Navy. I do have a Uberti SS 51 Navy that is a shooter.

ASM used soft internal parts and quality/reliability was hit or miss. If you've got one that works well shoot it but you'll probably have to replace the internal parts sooner or later. I think Uberti parts can be made to fit.

Long rider, the rogers and spencer I have is made by euroarms and shoots about the same size groups as my remmy does. The grip fits me better on the R & S, I reckon I like them both about the same.

Some long arms too! These were built by my Dad. They are mine now and highly prized.

Hey phantom captain, i was wondering do you think
that you will ever get into bp shooting
nice collection of pistols.

:D

What gave me away??

:D:D:D

My Dad used to always tell me that those new fangled fancy cartridge guns were just a passing fad and would never catch on. I think I believed him!:D
