Should I dump the .40S&W?

An update for everyone who was involved in the thread. I picked up my CZ-85B from the fun shop today. It is easily my favorite pistol that I have ever owned. The double action reach is a little long for my short fingers, but I can operate it in double action if I have to.

This gun just feels so good in the hand. It is my first time ever holding a CZ, and it was love at first grip. I was practicing my draw with a holster for my M&P but tightened down a lot.

This gun just points so naturally. Every time I draw from my holster, my sights are aligned right where they need to be.

That was my problem I always had to adjust my grip just a little my 85 Combat got delagated to range only status then a buddie offered me enough $$$ to delegate it as surplus, since I just couldn't live without a CZ 9mm in the collection I ended up with a Tac Sport  as great as my 85 shot the Tac Sport is unreal.
I also still have a CZ 75 Kadet I highly reccomend one (the conversion as they don't make the complete gun anymore) it's nearly as accurate as my Smith 41.

I'm looking into a trigger mod from CGW and a set of thin grips to help things out a little. I have no problems with the reach in single action. I really love the 85 and I'll either do what I can to reduce the DA reach, or just not use the DA at all.

I love these posts! 'Folks get touchy-touchy about the adequacy of the 9mm.!:D In Houston and Dallas, the stores I frequent are selling .40's as fast as they can get them.

I shoot a my Glock 22 Gen. 4 as well as I shoot 9mm pistols. I like the 180 grain JHP. I own a 9mm too but I always choose the Glock 22.

The .40 is not a bad round to stock pile for a SHTF scenario. Even with a ball or flat nose bullets, the 180 grain projectile is decent and it will kill deer sized game and smaller animals at short distances.
