That is not necessarily true. There are several kinds of malfunctiun that can prevent the cylinder from moving, and if that happens, you are done.If the first or any round does not fire, it can immediately fire a second or more rounds by another activation of the trigger.
I have never seen this claim made. Most everything I have read says three is the average...but that assumes one adversary. You know what happens when one assumes...especially when most up close defensive gun fights are over in less than two rounds.
That statement is true if you are Jerry Miculek. Most of us aren't. I might go so far as to say that none of us is.Revolvers using moon clips are just as fast or faster than autos in reloading.
