Today on my belt is my Custom Ruger Montado snubbie stoked with 6 standard pressure Buffalo Bore lead semi wadcutters... it's riding in my Galco holster that I bought for my Air Lite L frame S&W 44 special... but fits my Montado nicely

Thanks... it's a match to the cowboy guns ( with a slightly shorter barrel ) that I practice alot with... so as a single action it works well for me... also it's stainless, & has a transfer bar, so it's safe to carry with 6 standard pressure Buffalo Bore Elmer Keith style bullet rounds... has the added birds head grip, which makes it much more conceilable than the plow share standard grip

the ejector has been removed, but the cylinder pin smoothed so the cylinder removes very easily, & the pin pokes the empties... I can almost reload it faster than my standard Montados :)
 
yes... 45 Colt... my machinist buddy has been teasing me lately... telling me if I give it for a month or so... he'd make me a cylinder in 45 ACP if I wanted...
 
That gun rocks man, in 45LC and everything. It seems like a great little pistol that packs a great big punch. I bet the recoil is not even that bad either. The 45 push right? Well anyway I just cant get over how cool that is.
 
Nearest? Right now? My carry gun, an FEG PA-63, sitting on top of my combination scanner/printer in an IWB holster from The Holster Store, two feet from where I sit. She is currently loaded with one Hornady 9x18 XTP JHP in the chamber and a 7 rd mag full of 95 gr Silver Bear steel cased FMJ.

The CZ is in the other room and the 12 ga is about 7 ft away in the a/c closet.

The nearest gun to me is the one that I carried that day. That gun is whatever strikes my fancy. SIG P228, P229, P220 or P239 usually. :D
 
With all this fire power near me, my two useless dogs are snoring away at the bottom of my bed. They must know that I have security covered. It is comical!

I've got a choice between my Kimber Custom II, Sig 1911 TACOPS carry, Kahr K9, Taurus 85ss or my Remington 870. All are within about equal reach :D
 
Glock 19 with 15 rounds of 115gr critical defense on my right hip with 30 more rounds on my left hip. A Glock 21 with 5-13rd mags filled with Gold Dot 230gr JHPs in my desk drawer. Either way I'm ready with a fistful of **** Yeah.
