Anything made by Smith and Wesson is about as ugly as they come but i guess if your wrist is limp enough anything will work!
If what you want is to shoot a blackpowder percussion pistol, then nothing a cartridge gun does is "better". Seems you're missing the whole point???
If I'm not mistaken, convicted felons can own a black powder gun under federal law. So, there's at least one thing it can do better -- protect a felon. Not at all. What I am saying is that BPP don't do anything that can't be done better with a cartridge pistol.
Gyvel, it sounds like you only like Daisy Red Ryders, then.
I dont recall the name but there was a snub nose revolver chambered for the 45-70 years back.
Just a tad over 5. Anything that fires that cartridge, for my money anyway, the heavier the better.82oz (that's darn near 7lbs)
Have had a Mustang since the 80s and pocket carried off and on. Have a 238 now and plan to do the same. If you aren't comfortable with it, don't carry it. A lot of us feel completely okay with carrying these in the pocket, particularly in a pocket holster.just like the Mustang, it's single action mechanism makes it a less that comforting choice for pocket carry, for which it is ideally sized.

I might not be surprised at all on this one. I'm not one of them, though. I would feel just as disquieted with a pistol that had an empty chamber or needed to be cocked as I would carrying a cocked and locked pistol in my pocket. You'd be surprised at the number of CFP holders that don't carry with a round in the chamber.
