Pistols you think are just a bad idea....

Judge was the sequel

I dont recall the name but there was a snub nose revolver chambered
for the 45-70 years back.

its not quite a gun...

The new Kabar bayonet that attaches on Glock or XD rails is inexplicably stupid. If you have the ability as well as the legal justification to stab someone with your pistol you should probably just shoot them.

The P7 is actually a pretty neat idea. It's not hard to cock it, it's like a Colt grip safety, only more positive.
Form follows function, I suppose. But still, it's ergly.

Those 329 PDs wouldn't be so bad if they were sold as 44 Specials. The first time I checked out a 329 was one that the salesman had out that another customer had looked at. I asked if i could check it out and he said go ahead. I nearly threw the damn thing through the ceiling when I picked it up. Couldn't believe S&W would sell that with a straight face. I've heard rumors of people fracturing bones in their hand when firing that gun.

As for me, I would have to say any of the MAC type pistols. Throw a stock onto one and it becomes a decent weapon, but as a pistol they are damn near useless unless your target is standing 3' in front of you. Same thing applies with an UZI pistol.

The Japanese Type 94 would have to be way up there on the list. It's the only handgun I know of that can be easily fired without touching the trigger.

Also, bolt-action handguns have always struck me as a wonderful solution to a non-existant problem.

A lot of examples ...

The Judge is one ......
A Deringer .....in any caliber .....
Almost anything chambered in .380 ....

Don't want to be ugly but... black powder pistols.
This post is sillier than anything else that has been posted. So what, everybody is supposed to shoot modern plastic guns because they're.....modern???

Not at all. What I am saying is that BPP don't do anything that can't be done better with a cartridge pistol.

Can’t you just buy a gun that is fun to shoot and nostalgic. So what you are saying is anything old has no purpose in society today because there is something better than it. I will have to toss that replica Dragoon I guess and my record player to.

If what you want is to shoot a blackpowder percussion pistol, then nothing a cartridge gun does is "better". Seems you're missing the whole point???

The cut down M91/30s are the result of having plenty of rifles and no handguns. An invention of necessity.
