perspective from a criminal defense lawyer...

Slavery happened. It happened in SA, and, with it's abolishment, look at the mess that has been created. Africa is full of countries where the solution is worse then the problem. Zimbabwae comes to mind, etc.

Barbados seems to have made the smoothest transition, and, it only became free in 1966, though slavery was abolished long ago, in theory anyway.

Facts are here, our bleeding liberal-facist 'solutions' have created a race of criminals. Television and media give our children examples of the deviant behavior in this world. In schools, kids get away with murder, assault, verbal abuse, etc. with no penalty but a clean record at 18.

The emotional outbursts that lead up to violence have become socially acceptable. Control of your emotions, in certain situations, has become a lost art. All I have to do is watch a basketball coach, an ADULT, scream at 4th graders for an hour during a game, at full volume. If I did that, I'd get brought up for child abuse, or inciting a riot.

I see kids in middle schools acting like adults in basketball games, swearing, doing NBA type theatric stuff. They have to have that role modeled somewhere...

Between video games, TV, computer antics, etc. the mores of self-control are gone, and, when combined with that total lack of self-control, comes violence. My mother quit teaching when in 5th grade, some kid kicked a ball at her as hard as he could, and hit her in the stomach.

There is no respect for someone with superior ability. If a kid gets beat playing, he cheats, shoving the other, better player, in the back as he goes up, trying to hurt the better player. I don't play anymore, since the current group of high school and college players will as soon hurt you as look at you, same with 'graduates'.

What's worse, is the enforcement end of sports, and society, have allowed it to get to this point.

I'm getting way to old to try and change any of this.

I'm going to find some nice place I can enjoy living, and forget it all...
