C'mon guys, don't be mean to one another. It's OK to agree to disagree on some matters. I like that reference to one of Tamara's tag lines, Psychosword. Pretty funny. Gburner's right though, Libertarians need some PR and frankly some leadership with CHARISMA. :D
 
Rational, reasoned judgement is fine, as long as it is a two way street and works toward a positive final end. Your type of judgement is arrogant, elitist, derisive and condescending. You consistently employ the type of bullying tactics used by those who insist on demeaning their peers and who seek to control the thoughts and behaviors of others, much like the Brown Shirts of 1930's Germany. It is fascist, the direct antithesis of libertarianism. You practice authoritarianism.

We didn't get to where we are without the aid and abetting of the American people themselves. For way too many "liberty" means "me, first, last, always."
 
William Buckley - OMG - he's on the record as being extremely anti-gun. Intellectuals like him and George Will just don't "get it" on the gun issue. Lol, gburner, you DO make doing drive-bys on you soooo easy. :)

First Freedom, I thought Goldwater held views on firearms that were most closely related to the "sporting use" position, i.e., no military type rifles in civilian hands, etc. Please correct me if I am wrong on this.
 
Well, seeing as Ronald Reagan's name came up - some of the conservatives working under his administration in various departments have had some interesting things to say about events since September 2001 and what the current state of our government is.

But you won't see them interviewed on CNN - or FOX news for that matter ;)

I don't appreciate the use of the phrase 'doing a drive by on me' to describe your replying to my posts. Who in the hell do you think you are? Do you actually equate your responding to someone's ideas or comments with you shooting at them from a moving vehicle? You're sick. Is having a discussion with me equal in your mind to assaulting, maiming or even murdering me with a firearm? That you would even use that analogy is twisted, threatening and against everything that this board and its members stand for. Your stupidity is the kind of thing that anti's who troll boards like this love to pick up on and spread around as being 'typical' of how gun owners think, speak and act. I think it sucks and just because you put a stupid smiley behind it doesn't make it ok.

I haven't seen you post one original thought since you came on the scene. Your stock and trade seems to be giving 'oral support and comfort' ;) to the likes of psycho, LAK and FF. Y'all need to get a room together. Perhaps you can get a group discount. In the meantime, if you can't realize how inappropriate FF's post was and how it gives us all a black eye, then I am amazed that you have even learned to communicate via the written word. Please stay in the children's end of the pool from now on. You're out of your league.
