Cheapshooter slow down... Let me get one first.....LOL Other wise we will bidding up each other which will only be good for the seller not us the buyer....

The Poly, as the name implies, has a polymer frame. Great little guns, but I think the OP perfers a metal frame. The PT-22 has a steel frame.
Actually, looking at the Taurus website they don't call any of them a PT anymore.
Just Model 22 followed by letters denoting various options like Model 22BGR(bleed, gold accents, Ridgewood grips), or Model 22BR(bleed, Ridgewood grips), or Model 22PLY.

Im in the market for a semi auto 22lr pocket pistol. I would like it to be a reliable pistol that isnt picky on the ammo you feed it.

That is something the Beretta Bobcat is not. Mine wont make through a mag with a failure. Its clean, oiled and has a polished feed ramp. 4 different magazines, same result.

Have you also tried numerous brands, and types of ammo? I know that isn't the easiest thing to do in the days of Armageddon, but a good number of otherwise excellent misfire pistols are very picky about what you feed them.

I'll second the Taurus 22-PLY,,,

I'll second the Taurus 22-PLY,,,
I've had mine for well over two years,,,
I run CCI Mini-Mags and Federal Bulk through her.

Dead on reliable performance for me.

The old style Taurus (PT-22) had some documented feed problems,,,
In the newer 22-PLY they seem to have been fixed.

Also, the PLY fits the hand much better than the PT does,,,
The ergonomics of the gun are superb.

Everyone I have handed it to has hit well with it,,,
It's what we call a "natural pointer".

They also make the same exact gun in .25 ACP,,,

Weblance and I have similar tastes in guns,,,
I also have the Bersa Thunder-22 he showed a picture of,,,
It's not really a pocket pistol but he is correct in that it is a fine performer.

I'm not a fanboy of these guns because I own them,,,
I'm a fanboy because they work and work well.

Ive had my Bobcat for maybe 3 years now. I have tried many different brands, and types of ammo. It simply wont run through a mag without a feed jam. Im sure I could figure it out if I spent some time with it, but I simply bought other pistols, and moved on.

Exactly my experience. I tried at least a dozen types and brands of ammo. No joy.

Well then I guess Taurus should get some well deserved praise for the PT-22/22Poly pistols that are a copy of the Beretta. I, as well as others I know, and more I've read about have had great performance from their little Bull mouse guns.
