My reloading bench!

How long did you guys spend making your bench all tidy, and neat?:p

My bench very rarely looks like that if I have been loading anything.
Hahahahahahaha.

I'm in the same boat. All I did was, before the picture, took my arm and swept it across the table, and put the important stuff back

I have been loading my stuff for around 45 years now . It keeps me out of trouble with the wife and I spend a lot of time in MY ROOM .

I got a kidney Transplant in 1984 and spent 47 days in the Hospital . When I was ready to go home the doc told me do very little the next year (no work) .
So I shot every day and loaded every night it has great .

15 years ago I retired built a small out building and a range to shoot at home . Best time/money I ever spent my wife knows were I am and I know that time lunch is .

Here is my work in progress bench. I still have to build the cabinets above the bench and drawers underneath it for storage.

Judging from all the "stainless" scuba equipment I've owned, the term is often misleading.
Rust never sleeps.
Agreed "Stainless" doesn't really mean rust proof. One of the many things I learned in chemistry classes is "how" Stainless Steel "works"

Stainless steel rusting? Most handguns made of "stainless" are made of 400 series SS. It is heat treatable and is idea for firearms, but is not the ideal alloy for salt water, high humidity conditions. Corrosion resistant SS is usually 300 series, which is not heat treatable in the normal sense. Some SS is heat treatable at "low" temps. 17-4PH comes to mind.

Keep in mind there are exceptions to every rule, so don't hold my feet to the fire if you disagree with me.

Have a blessed evening,

Leon

Nice open space. How long will it stay that way?? What's going on it?

I have a Hornady single stage press that is attached right now. unfortunetly that picture is the cleanest it has been since that picture. since I don't have cabinets and drawers, that are coming soon, everything is laid out on the table or below it. I will follow up with more pictures once I get further into the project.

Someone like hornady much? Lol

I've got no complaints of my hornady stuff.

Iirc, those ap's you find people selling them for cheap? I feel like I've seen them before.

What is that thing in the last photo, dead center?

I have bought and sold about 20 AP's in the last 5 years. I pay $150.00 and sell for $300.00 with one shell plate and dies of your chose, tuned, lubed and ready to go.
The item you asked about is a air compressor with a foot switch. Twice the air of canned air and quite.

When anyone bad mouths Hornady or the AP press it's self I offer to buy it. And I watch Craigs list. I just mounted a press on my maintenance bench today. The first one in about 5 months. And I have a list of two folks waiting. But if they back out I will PM you. OH I also mount a power cop with the dies. I like all five spots filled. I bought 10 Power cops when they went on sell half off. And I normally get 3/4 shell plates with every buy. So the only thing extra I have to buy is the dies.

Well... I'm in the middle of commissioning a custom 458 socom... An ap may have to wait a while

Very nice! My inline case ejector shipped today!

You're gonna love it. I just got it a week ago and I am in love with it. It's handy, it's better, it's faster, it's 65 of the best dollars I've ever spent.
