My Pardini GT9-1 9x21 IMI caliber

Amazing pistol. Thanks for sharing.
Mine has the same case and accessories plus a spare stronger recoil spring.
Pretty strange your Inox has the frame with the same National Catalog of Firearms number of the GT9 and the written GT9 as well. It is certainly a pistol intended for export so compliance with italian legislation was not important.

Yeah it’s interesting

My importer found 5” INOX #IK0019 and it’s marked the same way. Interestingly enough, it was built four years after mine, so very few built each year.

In my opinion they paid attention to the model designation for the pistols sold in Italy to respect italian laws but for export they used the parts they had readly available.

Probably they had a ready GT9 Inox frame but the customer wanted a GT9-1 Inox slide so they built only the slide.
Pardini is in the end a small crafts factory.

Yeah who knows. Like I said, the other one is marked identical with the GT9 on the frame, as well as the catalog number.

I don’t think Pardini had a whole lot of INOX frames around.

Here is the review of the Pardini GT9-1 with titanium finish on the italian magazine Armi Magazine, October 2011.

Serial number of this GT9-1 with titanium finish is AR00343 which means 103 pistols after the one I have.
National Catalog of Firearms number is 14876 which is the Catalog classifications for all the GT9-1 pistols sold in Italy before the abolition of the Catalog, some years ago.
I've noticed they also didn't change serial numbers between GT9 and GT9-1 pistols. They used a progressive number regardless of the model.

Yeah, Pardini did some weird stuff with model numbers and serial numbers.

I don't think they had a ton of INOX frames in the first place. Here's an image of a GT9-1 INOX and GT9-1 Titanium

Honestly, many of my Itailian pistols are a mystery to me.

I've got Delta Top Guns, Bernardelli race guns, Benellis, rare Berettas, etc.

Drool... I was thinking of buying one a while back, but not the time to be making frivolous purchases right now. Hopefully things recover soon.

Unfortunately I can't help with the Delta AR Top Gun and Benelli pistols. I know them but I don't have any documentation. I've never seen a Delta in person. I've seen some Benelli B80 .30 Luger and B82 9x18 Ultra at my LGS for very cheap prices because of the obsolete calibers.
Even Bernardelli pistols can be found at cheap prices because here in Italy is all about Tanfoglio and Beretta when speaking about italian pistols.
Used Pardini can also be found at half the price or less which is a steal.

I once had the occasion to shoot a Bernardelli VB Practical in excellent conditions with two barrels with different muzzle brakes to choose for. Nice shooting pistol. The owner bought it used for €350 which is the price for a used Glock with some wear.

I have some old italian gun magazine reviews of Bernardelli pistols if you are interested. The problem is the same: they are written in italian...

Apart from Pardini, I think the only custom/semi custom pistols available in Italy at this moment are ADC (Armi Dallera Custom) and Brixia (which I think is the factory known in the USA as Valtro), both based on the 1911 platform.

Yes, they are very nice

Both my Delta's are 45ACP, though one has a steel frame and the other aluminum. Apparently, the steel frames are even harder to find.

I like the Bernardelli VB Practical. I've got one in 9mm and one in 40S&W.

My Benelli MP3S pistols are 9mm and 32 WC

Love to know more about all these guns, to include production numbers, etc. All are extremely hard to find in the States.

Super nice collection of italian rarities.
In the last year I saw two Deltas for sale online here in Italy: a .45ACP one (I can't remember if it was blued or chromed) and an all blued steel 9x21 IMI one.

Here is the review of the 9x21 IMI Bernardelli P One on the italian gun magazine Armi Magazine, May 1995.
On the cover: Bernardelli VB Practical Elite and Bernardelli P One.

Note the forged barrel and frame, before machining, near the pistol.
