My Pardini GT9-1 9x21 IMI caliber

Hello bac1023, I think you and lifesizepotato influenced me in buying this pistol because of your opinion about it.
I once saw a 6 or so pages review of the all stainless steel (inox) Pardini GT9-1 on an italian gun magazine called Armi Magazine. It was a €3600 gun, twice the price of a new Pardini GT9-1 like mine. It had a golden trigger and some other different looking features. Superb pistol only available with a special customer order. I don't think they offer it anymore.

I’m glad you love the GT9. They are outstanding pistols.

Yes, the INOX has a gold plated trigger and some upgraded parts that are not compatible with the standard guns.

...and, no, they haven’t been offered in nearly a decade. Even when they were “offered”, it was a waiting list that I don’t believe was ever satisfied. Only 40 built.

Thank you bac1023.
Please, post some pics here of the amazing INOX GT when it arrives in your hands.
Your photos are always beautiful, so are your pistols.

Will do 5-SHOS.

I’ll post it here in your thread.
Thanks bac1023.
I've found the italian magazine Armi Magazine where the GT9-1 INOX was reviewed. I have the magazine in my hands and I'll try to post some pics of the pages tomorrow.

I can anticipate that the serial number of the reviewed gun was IAR10010; I think the first letter "I" stands for "INOX". I don't know why it starts with "1" after "IAR".
My regular Pardini has the serial number AR00240 which is a "third generation" serial number; "first generation" serial number was E00XXX, "second generation" was K00XXX.

Very nice

Thank you for posting. Mine looks just like that with the 6" barrel.

I'll have to translate it.

Thank you bac1023.
My initial intention was to translate the text as well but as you can imagine it is a process that requires a lot of time and effort. I do not rule out doing it in the near future and in any case I am available to assist in understanding the text.
I also have other interesting italian articles on the Pardini GT: an interesting one back in 1994 when they first came out where there is the very first example and another example with a full titanium frame; the other article is on a more recent GT9-1 with a titanium finish.
I'll post them both in the next few days.
Stay tuned.

Here is the review of Pardini GT pistols when they first came out in 1994 from the italian gun magazine Armi e Tiro, August 1994.

Magazine cover, page 1, page 2.

Slide and barrel were made using 38NCD4 steel. The frame of the black PC9 was made of ergal 7075.
The frame of the silver example was made using titanium grade 5 with titanium nitride surface coating.

The PC9 was initially offered in Italy as a defense pistol to be carried cocked and locked. This is demonstrated by the Catalogo Nazionale delle Armi number 8419 (National Catalog of Firearms number 8419) engraved on the frame. Only later the GT9 was offered, classified as a sport pistol and with the National Catalog of Firearms number 10678. There are no mechanical differences between the PC9 and the GT9 that I'm aware of. Generally the PC9 have a curved trigger and a shorter beaver tail but these differences are not always found. Sometimes the only difference I have noticed is the model designation engraved on the frame, which is important only for Italy for the speech I made previously on the classification between defense pistol or sport pistol.
