Movie handgun attribute you want most?

In no particular order...

1. The recoil free M-1 garands
2. The single action colts that get head shots at 200+ yards.
3. The M-16/AK/Uzi that burns through 6 magazines on full auto and dosen't over heat or cook off.
4. The shoulder hoster that perfectly conceals a full size Desert Eagle.
5. The 38 Special / 9mm Lugar ammo that deflates an automobile tire with one shot.

How about video game gun attributes?

In Devil May Cry the main character would pop demons into the air with his sword and then juggle them with his .45s.

I would definitely want the bottomless magazine for my pistol, although a revolver that I didn't have to reload would be nice too :D.

I'd would want the power effect of the noisy cricket from "Men in Black" re-fit into my PPK. with maybe a 98% reduction in felt recoil. :D

I would want a phaser, complete with the ability to set it for wide dispersal and take out everything within a 180 degree arc with one shot.

Ice bullets, "magic" CSI spent cases....

Don't forget the super-cool "ice" bullets. These deadly CIA engineered projectiles kill any bad guy or terrorist then "melt away", ;).

Also; the slick way any cop, CSI tech, ATF agent, or FBI special agent can go to a crime scene, pick up a spent case and know EXACTLY what caliber it is and what brand/model firearm fired it. The same round(s) are also ALWAYS the subject's ammunition, never random or unrelated to a criminal investigation(where you are innocent until PROVEN guilty, right?, ;)).

ABC's new stale NYPD Blue re-hash: Detroit 187 had a rare scene with a slight variation on the standard cop show BS.

Michael Mann's 2002 short lived LAPD series: RHD(Robbery-Homicide Div) had a interesting scene where a nightclub by-stander to a street shooting was hit and did not know it. But that's another story....

since we went there, how about the golden gun from goldeneye 007?

shoot someone in the foot and it kills em... who needs shot placement?

I actually kind of like the show but I spotted the same old crap in this week's episode. While Det Washington was clearing a house with his Glock his partner, Det Fitch, came in to the room and startled him. He turned and his Glock "cocked". My wife said 'seriously?"

Has anyone mentioned the silencer for the revolvers? I always wanted one of those.
I have a silencer for my revolver. It really works; suppresses nearly as well as a 22lr pistol.

But it is a Russian Nagant revolver, the sights are tiny, the trigger is crap, accuracy is poor.

Carry in the desert in full sun without sweating, walking for days without wate, face still baby smooth after a week without a shave, and my hair perfectly combed. Not to mention doing so in dress shoes without getting a single blister. Not to mention no sunburn, and staying perfecly clean witout a speck of dut or dirt on you.
Running to draw fire from a machine gun never getting hit, with clouds of dust where my feet were a split second before.
Having a machine gun hidden under the grill of an Aston Martin. Not to mention the rockets, and the retractable saw blades that will cut tires without sideswiping the car next to me.
Being able to move so fast I can dodge bullets IE "The Matrix" and make a phone call to have a huge arsenal of guns pop up right there.

This is easy. It's the handgun that ANYONE would rather have or use (like the movies and TV series action stuff) instead of a simple M1 Carbine or AR 15!

Don't take a handgun into a firefight--take a rifle or carbine.

I would like for the bad guys to have the power to miss like the bad guys in most movies!

Bad guy sprays 500 rounds with his full auto and hits nothing then the good guy jumps out with his 45 and 1 shot kills the bad guy!

I'd like to have the ability to rack the slide as many times as I wanted and still shoot off all eight of my .45s from a golden 1911.

WHOEVER BROUGHT UP DEVIL MAY CRY IS MY HERO!!!!

I want Ebony and Ivory so bad. Also, if you played DMC 3, I want Lady's spiral. :D

As for video game gun attributes I'm going to have to go with infinate magazines. Or the other great one, not having to load rounds that you find on the ground into the magazines.

Ok last one I swear. While I hate the movie ultra violet how awesome would it be to have the ability to warp guns into your hands like that? It's some sort of slipspace technology that allows the user to immeadiatly have acess to guns that are not on their person.

Come on, video games are some simple ones.

First: being able to carry infinite amount of weapons/ammo and never looking like you even have more then a pistol on you

Second: you ALWAYS have a loaded mag to change to

third: if you get shot your only a potion/health pack away from being fine

Fourth: Cheat codes

Teirst: Gun mounted flash light that has an extremely bright "strobe" mode to blind your foe.
Actually, a 100-lumen "Gun mounted flash light" will blind someone, and if you accidentally flash one in your wife's eyes, she will try to stick both the gun and the light in your, uh, ear, when she regains her sight.
Fun thread! :D

You guys ever heard of imfdb.org? It's pretty much like wikipedia for guns involved in movies, games etc. Other than that, any gun from the resident evil series would do. :D
