Most outlandish gun you have ccw'ed?

Colt SAA 45 Colt 2" barrel. It usally gets carried with a 45ACP cylinder in place.

Mine was the BFR 45/70 with a 10 inch barrel. I had it in a shoulder holster as a buck up gun while hunting. My coat was over it so technically it was a CCW.

I have carried a 45/70 Derringer a few times.

Outlandish?

8 3/8 M57 Nickle in a Bianchi X15 shoulder holster under a denim shirt. I weighed about 135 pounds at the time (just out of the Army, SF). Looked like I was stealing a hind quarter from the butcher shop:)

Yep!

Just for "fun" one day I carried my HK Tactical with weapon light in a Blackhawk thigh holster under an Australian drover coat.

I was just out to take the dog for a walk and it was raining. So I figured, why not?

I felt light Wyatt Earp.

About a mile down the road I thought, "Great, this is going to be the day someone attacks me and I'm going to have to explain to the state police that it was just a coincidence I had this rig on"

I did build a CCW rig for my Mossberg 500 pistol-grip 12 gauge once. But I don't think I ever actually wore it outside.

For a short time I carried a 6" barrel H&R Sportsman 999 .22lr revolver in a belly band hiked up around my chest and under my left arm. It was kinda wacky but it was all I had and wanted to see if it could be done.

S&W 629 6", S&W 66 2 1/2", and a .410 H&R single shot just to see if I could keep them all under wraps at the same time, they weighed more than I thought after about ten minutes.

I put my 10" barrel having Blackhawk .44 mag in my nephews shoulder holster wore it all day and only got found out once.... In a hug. :)

I was an all-night watchman working alone in a building complex in a bad area of town in the early 70's. I need to walk the compound and turn a key in several boxes to show I was making the rounds.

All I owned was an 1858 Remington .44 repro. I was quite young and quite broke, thus working the second job. I could shoot the Remington quite well at 25 yards and it served the purpose until I could upgrade to a Model 39-2.

New Model Blackhawk in .44 7-1/2 in. barrel. NOT FOR LONG THOUGH ON MY 165LB. FRAME.:p
Have thought about the Draco, but that seems like a fine way to get a local LEO to request my CHP to be turned in for being a wiseguy.........

I am not sure how it is in other states, but in Colorado you get a concealed HANDGUN permit (CHP), not a concealed weapons permit, so the 12 guage is off limits to carry, even though it is my GOTO weapon of chioce and would carry a SBR Remington 12 guage if I could..........

Not really outlandish, but certainly off the beaten path.....

1916 Colt Army Special in .41 Long Colt
1921 DWM commercial Luger in 9mm
Ballester-Rigaud .45 auto

All 3 continue to be in the carry rotation.

Well I guess I can play again. The other day I CCW'd this...

I guess I should also add, I carried down to my wife's car to get the her iPhone out of the glove box. while the holster was a cheap Walmart find, I couldn't imagine trying to hide that thing all day, even in a well made holster. A tip of the hat to Jim March and the like.
