Most outlandish gun you have ccw'ed?

I always wear my NAA mini

My most outlandish carry choice is my 7.5" 357 Redhawk in a Sparks HSR (thank goodness it has an open bottom, as it was originally made for my 5.5" Redhawks).

Yes I gotta wear a London Fog over it....I have two.

Outlandish? Dunno about that but sure kinda quaint: A British Bulldog in .44 Webley.

.44 mag Ruger Blackhawk, 4 5/8" - it was wintertime, wore it OWB under a jacket. Thinking of doing that with my .45 colt this winter.

Just for the heck of it,,,

I tried carrying my 6" S&W Model 629,,,
It was in a shoulder holster I bought at a flea market.

The holster fits the gun and me very nicely,,,
But man was that thing heavy!

Never again.

Carried a S&W 29 with a 6 inch barrel and a pistol grip Mossberg 500 under a trench coat a few times just to see if I could. As long as I stood up straight and never bent over, it was doable. Never again though, it killed my back after a few hours.

I carried a Walther P-38 once on a raid. I got suckered in to help out and it was all I had on me at the time. Got some strange looks from the other guys.

carried a s&w 500 with a 6 1/2 inch barrel in a shoulder rig just to see if i can pull it off one day, had no intention of using it. had my 1911 in scabbord positioned at 4 o' clock that was my main carry piece. it wasnt uncomfortable and it concealed quite nicely, but it was completely impractical. after that day i never carried it again.

This, around my neck under a leather duster. Was picking up a neighbor at a bar in an unsavory part of town. Full 30 round mag. Used to joke that I would carry this way if I had to walk the streets of Detroit. Never thought I actually would, though.
