Most enjoyable handguns to shoot

That I can remember?

I've had the pleasure, and opportunity of shooting many guns over the years. The two that stand out is my old H&K USP Compact, and a close second would have been my Beretta PX4 Storm, and a close 3rd would be my Taurus PT92. Especially if I was shooting with a Beretta 92Fs. Now "That" was fun, but only if I won...:p

Although this thread is in the semi-auto forum, other platrorms have been mentioned. So the door has been opened.
Thompson Center Contender.
It can be anything I want it to be based on my mood at the time.
A very accurate rimfire with the 22 long rifle match barrel. A crow, and chuck buster with a 223 barrel. It can bring home the venison with either a 7-30 Waters, or 35 Remington barrel, or if I am feeling particularly adventurous, I can put on the 10" 45-70 barrel for some real hand cannon fun.

Ruger 22/45 with a suppressor. Cans are illegal in Illinois, so I last fired it maybe 10 years ago when I was flying to Dallas every month, but I've never forgotten it.

holly thread resurrection, after a 7 year sleep it's ALIVE

Ain't it great?

Since this is the semi-auto section and I don't have a lot of semi's, I'll just say it's my wife's Glock 17 of all things. I'm one of those old geezers who pokes fun at Glocks every chance he gets, but I gotta admit that silly thing of hers just keeps chugging along, and puts holes in the target close to where I expect them to show up. I don't care what ammo I feed it, it just works. Very soft recoil too.

But I'm a revolver guy. My REAL favorite is the Smith & Wesson Model 15. I've had several over the years, my current one is probably the one I like best. A 15-2, with diamond target grips, target trigger, and hammer. Man that thing is nice, especially in S/A mode.
