Most enjoyable handguns to shoot

To me, the most pleasent pistol to shoot, is the Smith Model 52, SW 38 target pistol.

Granted its just a target pistol but fun to shoot, and smooth. Almost no recoil, easy to keep on target, or just plain plinking.

Out of my limited collection, I would say that my Browning Buck Mark wins the award for flat out most fun to shoot:D

Everything pales compared to my M1A, but for handguns, I have to say my bro's Springfield MilSpec is pretty fun. We have a Ruger Mk II with a TacSol upper and a red dot sight that is rail-gun accurate and provides a lot of squirrel terror for not a lot of money. For pure blast and noise effect, few things make my heart flutter like a 300 gr Speer from a .50 AE Desert Eagle.

Hopefully my newest acquisition will prove to be reliable and just as fun as any of these.

I just picked up a SIG P220SAO on election day and can't wait to shoot it!

Most fun to shoot?

Must feel good in the YOUR hands
Must be deadly accurate and challange your ability
Must never be a worry of "will it or won't it" fire
Must leave the range smiling

For me that means;

High quality 1911 - Mine is a Colt Combat Elite - awesome
Sig P239 - Mine is spot on target and never hiccups with the added beauty of cheap 9mm ammo you can shoot as much as you want.

I enjoy my bone stock Colt 1991A1 5" with plain 'ol WWB ball ammo. Something about its simplicity, the single action, and the history behind the weapon I seem to enjoy. Plus, I've never shot a gun I can get such quick double taps on steel and poppers with. Yeah, I have nicer guns, but this one is my all time favorite to shoot.

Maybe it is just new gun love, but I really enjoy my Glock 26. Just an amazing pistol and very accurate for its size. I would have said my glock 34 before now, but I just can't get enough of the 26.

This Ruger Mark II is insanely accurate. Any good .22LR auto pistol is gonna be fun to shoot just because. :D

This H&K USP45 is fun to shoot because it is also very accurate and easy to shoot. The built in recoil dampener makes even the stoutest +P loads enjoyably easy to shoot.

pleasant

They are all fun. I usually have trouble deciding which to take to the range.

Alas, there's a Smith 52 for sale at my club right now - excellent condition and $750. It just isn't in the cards for me right now. Sigh.
Looks like a shot of the Bullseye guns to me. I have two of the three.

I always thought the Walther P5 Compact was one of the greatest joys of shooting. I've never shot anything as pleasurable before or since.

The most enjoyable to shoot???

That's exactly the criteria I have when purchasing one.

The see what I think are the most enjoyable to spend range time with see my signature below.;)

I enjoy shooting my Glock 17 and 19.

I did have a Beretta 92FS that I really liked, because it was so accurate and soft shooting. Unfortunately I had to sell due to financial struggles. :( I will buy another one in the future.
