Mossberg 464 SPX - Nearly speechless...

'Cause everybody knows you can't have rails if you don't have a brake! And how can you have a brake if you don't have your rails?

Ooh...they need a quick-change barrel version.

Added : And Desert Tan furniture!!! Jesus wept and all is good in the world...

con·ser·va·tive:

1. Favoring traditional views and values; tending to oppose change.
2. Traditional or restrained in style

The tactical market is big with everyone wanting anything with rails and black. To those folks that are so caught up in the mental flood, this will appeal to. The rest, the normal folks, ahh. NO!:confused::rolleyes::o

Are dictionaries bad?

Sometimes I have to chuckle at knee-jerk reactions to anything different.
Things change...
As I've said before, when "talkies" first came out there was a slew of experts who thought they were just a novelty, an irreverent passing fad that would never take off.

Newsflash: The woodstock ones will remain available... and silent films too.

Oh my. I'm saving that image, I know people that will feel physical pain knowing that it exists. The black is bad, the rails are bad, but the 4-position m4 stock puts it in the realm of borderline abomination.

No, but your statment imply's that it is bad to be conservative...

As for lever actions its pretty pointless to "tacticool" one out when you could just get a AK/AR. The appeal of a lever action is for a traditional look and feel.
(with the exception of people that live in less than free states that prohibit use of semi-automatic carbines)

It looks like it would also handle like a nightmare so whats the point of this rifle again?? What does it do that another rifle can't do better? (besides look ugly)

Newsflash: Putting rail's on a traditional rifle dosen't time-warp it into the next century.

The old school guys are throwing up, and the mall ninjas just went and got a new set of hard knuckle gloves to operate that awesome machine. If Mossberg's idea is that it is a happy medium between the two camps, they are sadly mistaken. Will it sell? You bet your $40 red dot it will. Just not to me.
