Let's start the new forum with a Picture thread for fun...

The top one is a DA, .22LR 7-shot revolver made by US Revolver Co (aka Iver Johnson) sometime around 1910-1920, I'm guessing. It loves Aguila Super Maximums and works perfectly. It is tiny, tiny, tiny & looks much better in real life than in the picture.

Here are a couple from My G.I. collection:
M1917 .45ACP Colt Revolver
M1909 .45LC Colt Revolver
Navy Victory .38SPL S&W Revolver

AC-42 P-38 and Army Victory. The Victory I got from the estate of a doctor who served in the Pacific in WW2. A pilot gave it to him for protection from the still-lurking Japanese and the doctor brought it home after the war and kept it in the house for protection. We all knew he had it from his stories, but no one had seen it or knew where it was. When the family found it after the funeral, it still contained five rounds of unfired WW2-dated ammunition.

How do you guys get your pictures taken so up close? I try and it just turns out fuzzy. I have a pretty decent camera that I just got for Christmas.

Most camera lenses won't let you get clear results form more than 4 or 5 feet away, so the trick is to stand back at least that far and use the zoom for closer shots.

My Mosin Nagant M44. There's nothing special about it other than the fact that it cost me a whopping $80 (with matching serial numbers).
