If you mean the two screwheads on the slidecover plate, Those are for a clipdraw. I found a holster I like, but with the clip on, it won't fit the holster. So I removed the clip. But I left that cover with the screws in place, rather that put the original back, in case on a whim, I decided to put the clip back on.

You can't see it in the my pic, but the 329 has been ported. Big difference in recoil, probably 1/3 less after the porting.

The 329 is much more fun to shoot .44 specials out of. The .44 Mags are just too much for the gun, in my opinion.
