double barrel daryl (needed to write it out too):
Those are Brooks Tactical AGrip, IMHO the absolute hands down no question super mega platinum magnesium titanium best grip I've ever held period. As the Glock is already a bit of a handful, they are ultra thin, so much that in real life you can still see the pattern on the plastic below. They are made of a material that is kind of velvety, but when touched with oil or sweat or water on the hand, they become quite tacky. (some would say that in green, they are "tacky" to begin with) On top of that, the material that sticks them on the gun is reusable over and over again as long as you dont get a bunch of oil or lube on it. I have to pull it partially off to get the trigger housing pin, and it sticks right back good as new. You might note that it covers the magazine release, but I assure you that it is a non-issue in every way. Anyway, you can get them in plain black, I was just feeling a little frisky the day I ordered them.
My buddy picked me up from work today at lunch to go with him to look at a 45-70 double rifle he is salivating over. When he asked me what I thought about the gun, I said looks beautiful and painful. I then made the mistake of turning and looking into the handgun case and there was a new in box, satin chrome, Mark 3 BHP. It had a black hammer, slide release, ambi safety and sights. It has the Pachmayer wrap-around grips, but also has something I have never seen on a BHP.......a gold trigger. The rear sight is a Browning and not a Millett like I have on my other two BHP's.....yes this is my third in as few months. It is a really gorgeous gun....one I will probably not change, except to put some nice wood grips on.
I got this old classic from a gentleman who put her on the auctions. I already have several 1917s, a pair of .45 Colts and a .455 Eley converted to .45 Colt, all with the 5.5" tubes. I have wanted a 4" 38 for a while and a .44 or .38 WCF but the costs have been more than I was willing to put in them. The one below left me enough change from $400 to take the wife to dinner. It is massive for a .38 special. However, these guns would shoot the 1930 born .38/44 HD ammo which was the predecessor of the .357 magnum
I am amazed how many handguns I have bought (and sold some) since starting this thread over 2 years ago! I was looking for knowledge and you folks have given me the ideas to search from.
Thanks to all who have posted.
BTW, I still have that CZ75 D Compact PCR that I posted on page one, post one. It is my favorite all time ALL AROUND handgun. My favorite TARGET handgun is my SA Stainless "Loaded" 1911 chambered in 9mm.
