BluesBear, thanks for the kind words. I can't say for sure who did it. The work had already been done to the gun when I traded for it. I think it may have been done buy a gunsmith named Brummer in Davis, Oklahoma, he said he had done one like it, but wasn't 100% sure that this was the one,( he also put the novak 1911 tritium front sights on the 65 and the 66). It, as you said, was nicely done though, right down to the detent ball lock-up. It has an excellent trigger job,and is very accurate. It is one of the guns I would never consider selling.

Couldbeanyone, now that Model 65 just makes me sit up and take notice. I would love to have that sort of sight on mine. I adding this mod to my list.

Do you think the 'smith can do the milling of the dovetail, without having to remove the barrel from the frame?

Bart Noir, glad to see someone else likes tritium on their ccw revolver. Checked with my gunsmith who did it for me. He ended up using Novak 1911 front sights, (instead of Sig Sauer as we had planned when I first brought up the idea), due to their greater variety of available heights. It is relatively easy for someone with a mill and does not require removing the barrel. Simply measure your original front sight height, buy the appropriate height front tritium, mill off the old sight, cut the appropriate dovetail into the barrel, install the sight, and trim the sight dovetail width to match the width of the barrel. The sight is about $53 in Midway and my smith gets around $45 to put them on a stainless revolver, more if not stainless and refinish work is involved. If you have any other questions I'd be glad to help or P.M. me. See how you like this, 32 magnum Smith 432 with Novak tritium.

First Post! Would have a Kel-Tec P-3AT in there, but just got it and a barrel lug broke off, not even fired yet!
