UH1.... thank you for the welcome!

Playboy... glad you appreciate the gun... that Christiansen Custom Commander and the Colt 1991 Harrison Custom below it are my most valued 1911's. I have a Wilson CQB and the Ed Brown Class A bobtail pictured below which are awesome guns... but those Colts are my favorites.

I just put a single-sided Colt mil-spec thumb safety and a Colt short, black, solid trigger in the Brown below and it looks really stealthy now! Time for new pics!

Thank you. I bought them on ebay. They guy who makes these grip didnt make blood red at first. Then he made these and i just had to have them! I spent a little more than what i should have on them but hey it is just money right? They fill the hand just right. The Punisher logo is raised a little bit so it kind of acts as a palm swell.

My only complaint about them is that when handling them the first time after shooting i got gun powder on the logo and it wouldnt come off. You can still see it if you look close

Do you think, you know, when you get to heaven that maybe, just maybe, everyone gets one like DHart's Commander. If not, please leave me right here on earth, God.

All the wonderful pictures.

All of the pictures are great. Has me thinking about what I would like to purchase next. I should get crackin and post mine too.

Who needs a main gun with a ccw like this...

PHP:
My primary ccw. A Dan Wesson, model 715 .357 magnum. The short and odd serial number on this handgun indicates an early test run at the factory in Monson. Made in 1992 or 1993. The hard wood grip is smooth and makes it a real comfort binky, both to hold and to have moving against my skin under my shirt. It packs an enormously hard blast at the gun range. Loads of 900 ft/lbs is probably doable, long term, in this handgun. I've shot them at 600 so far, but don't want to go over that. This handgun is so good and I know that I can't find a replacement should I shoot it to pieces. Especially semi-automatic shooters nearby seem to feel rediculed in its presence, because it over-voices them so badly. Sometimes I even become amazed myself by the force of snappy, wrist-killing recoil, despite its weight. The frame is robust and I like that. It replaces my Stretch&Wesson, model 642, which couldn't even stand up to five rounds of Corbon +p. Any ccw will print more or less under your garments. This Dan Wesson prints a bit on my hip, but it's so worth it. It's a tool of steel. My tool.

kickshot & westphoenix... thanks for appreciating my Colt Commander... it's most definitely my coolest gun. I feel very fortunate to have it!
